C-GHTD is a Cessna Model M, with the long range 48 gallon fuel tanks.
GHTD was privately owned from 1983 to 1994, the year in which Trinity Western University purchased the aircraft. Trinity Western then sold GHTD, in 1996, to the Macleod School Of Aviation Inc, where she flew for a year before going back to private ownership. In 1998, AirShare Partners in Flight purchased GHTD and has maintained and flown her to this day.
In February 2018 the Attitude Indicator was replaced with a multi-function Garmin G5 unit, and in October 2021 HTD received a new engine. A new Stratus transponder (with ADS-B In and Out) was installed in 2022. The Garmin SL40 radio has a very handy Monitor function which lets you monitor the backup frequency, when you hear a transmission it shows arrow symbols (< or >) indicating which frequency a transmission is being heard on.
